Verified accounts
RentRooster uses Veriff identity verification before key marketplace actions. The document capture is handled through Veriff. RentRooster retains the status and references needed to operate the verified account rather than storing the identity-document image in its marketplace database.
A request is not an automatic charge
The renter selects dates and sends a request. The owner can review it before accepting or declining. Only after acceptance is the renter asked to complete payment, and that payment step has a deadline. This keeps owner availability and renter payment in a clear order.
Keep material conversations on platform
Messages about condition, collection, accessories or changes should remain in the RentRooster conversation. That helps both users remember what was agreed and gives support useful context if something goes wrong.
Guarantee protection is conditional
Eligible rentals may qualify for the RentRooster Lender Guarantee, but the full terms, exclusions, evidence requirements and maximum limit apply. Good photographs and prompt reporting remain important.
